Intellectual Women

The focus of this issue is on female intellectuals, women who think about social and political conditions and formulate their thoughts publicly, even if they do not (always) describe themselves as intellectuals in public. The relationship between intellectuality and femininity is examined from different perspectives and it becomes clear that dealing with intellectual women remains a challenging task.
