Call | Women’s movements and feminisms in cultural memory

Today, the feminist “we” is fragmented and fluid. The invocation of women reflexively triggers accusations of essentialism. How can we commemorate individuals all over the world, who decided to act politically – on their own or as part of a movement – as women, to fight sexist exploitation and oppression in politics, education, economics, law, culture, and private life?
