Sex and Gender in Biomedical Research

The main topic of the issue combines biomedical research, gender studies and research policy. The articles open up new perspectives in biomedical research through their consistent inclusion of the category of gender and at the same time point to the need for more broadly funded and diversified research that differentiates between the sexes.
